PAI SUPPLIER OPERATIONS • CONTROLLED CHANGE DESIGN
Product Category Application Studio PHASE 10 · PLANNING ONLY
Plan and independently validate individual category changes before any future authorized application.
STRICT NON-APPLICATION LOCK: This planning-only studio can write only isolated Phase 10 planning records and their audit events. No action in this version updates supplier_products, product categories, prices, images, inventory, DRAFT status, or publication. A planning sign-off is not permission to apply a category. A separate authorization, server-side execution design, and release will be required.

STEP 1 • READ-ONLY PRODUCT SELECTION
Approved proposals eligible for planning
Only Phase 9 proposals with PROPOSAL_APPROVED are considered. Current PAI product category and DRAFT status are checked independently.
| PAI product | Live category | Proposed category | Live status | Eligibility | Preview action |

STEP 2 • PLANNING ONLY
Persistent category-change plans
Snapshot the original category, perform a server-validated dry run, and optionally sign off the plan only. No category change is executed.
| SKU / product | Before | After (proposed) | Plan status | Operator note | Actions (plans only) |
|---|
STEP 3 • REVERSIBILITY DESIGN
Before / after verification & rollback blueprint
Select View comparison on a saved plan. The comparison will show the live product category, planned target, validation conditions, and a rollback blueprint for a separately authorized future release.
Execution gate: No “Apply category” or “Rollback live category” function exists in this version. Future live writes must use separate administrator authorization, fresh product-state checks, an atomic transaction, a complete before/after audit, and an explicit rollback procedure.
STEP 4 • SERVER-GENERATED AUDIT TRAIL
Phase 10 planning audit history
Each material plan change is recorded by a database trigger. Browser users cannot edit or delete audit rows.
